This was Brayden's first time in the sand. He liked to walk in it and touch it, but the fun ended abruptly when he tried to shove a handful of sand in his mouth!

First Beach Trip

We took Brayden on his first beach trip this past weekend. He did great. It was beautiful weather, but a bit windy.

Swimming Lessons

Brayden has swimming lessons every Friday now. He had his first class last week and LOVED it.
Brayden loved the back float!

They practice "jumping" off this float to us and then we help them learn to get back on.

Brayden wasn't quite sure what to think of the slide. The instructor put him up there and I caught him in the water.

The kids reached for balls in the water as a way to teach them to paddle.

I thought I would change things up and add a picture of something other than Brayden for once. This is a cute one from last night.This was a going away party for my friend Elizabeth. We all worked together for the past couple of years. Good times!

This was Brayden't first time in a restaurant booster seat. This one hooked onto the table. Brayden seemed to like it.

We were lucky enough to spend some time with Brayden's great grandpa while he was in town. Brayden met him once before back in October, but I think they enjoyed each other much more this time.

First time in the pool

These are from a few weeks ago. I have been bad about blogging lately. The last few weeks of school were rough, busy and emotional, but I am officially a stay at home mom now so I should be able to blog more often.

Brayden loved his first pool experience. Grandma was there to share in the fun.

Brayden sat in the pool and played for half an hour. We will be hanging by the pool a lot this summer!
