We just thought we'd pass along the good news from Brayden's doctor visit today. He is already back up to 8 pounds 8 ounces (from a low of 7 pounds 10 ounces on October 23rd), so he's gaining weight at a great rate. He has also grow an inch to 21.5" long, which partially explains why his onesies are getting a bit tight. He got a clean bill of health from the doctor.
She also said that in about another week we can start letting him sleep as long as he wants during the night. He hasn't really slept longer than 3 hours at once, but hey, we can sure hope for more! Also, his nasal congestion and sneezing are totally normal. I guess it is pretty common for newborns to have small nasal passageways that can cause the periods of snorting, sneezing, and sniffling. It isn't a cold and it does go away fairly quickly.
